The U.S. Embassy has a requirement for the repair of the vent piping system s at residence located Libano 1351.

All firms who respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work.

At a minimum, each Offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal:

  1. Be able to understand written and spoken English;
  2. Have an established business in Uruguay with a permanent address and telephone listing;
  3. Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work;
  4. Have all licenses and permits required by local law;
  5. Meet all local insurance requirements;
  6. Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution;
  7. Have no adverse criminal record; and
  8. Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States.
  9. Have good experience and past performance records
  10. Identify specialized experience and technical competence required to construction the work in accordance with this solicitation

The solicitation documents can be requested by e-mail mtvprocurement@state.gov between September 9, 2016 and September 15, 2016 (before 5:30p.m).

The estimated cost of this firm fixed price contract is less than $25,000. A site visit will be held at Libano 1351, on Tuesday, September 20, at 10:00 hrs. The deadline to submit the proposals is at 10:00 a.m. on September 26, 2016.
