The U.S. Embassy Montevideo informs U.S. citizens and all consular section clients that effective March 16, 2023, the consular exchange rate will change to 40 UYU (1USD = 40UYU). All consular service fees, including applications for visas, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, passports, and notarial services will use the new exchange rate.
