Through a powerful and innovative catalogue of exchange programs and tools, we offer Uruguayan students exchange programs and opportunities that will better prepare them to lead teams and communities in the future.
This three-week exchange program enables Uruguayan secondary-public school and Technical School (UTU) students to visit the United States to help broaden their knowledge of U.S. culture, society, and education. The program promotes mutual understanding, increases leadership skills, and prepares youth to make a difference in their communities. Participants will engage in workshops, community service activities, team building exercises, meetings with community leaders, and homestays with American families. Selected students should have good academic grades, a good level of English, and proven commitment to their communities. Before the exchange, participants will carry out community service projects in their own communities.

EducationUSA Opportunity Funds
This program assists highly qualified students who are likely to be awarded full or partial financial aid from U.S. colleges and universities but lack the financial resources to cover the up-front costs of testing, application fees, or airfare. Each Opportunity Funds student undergoes a selective process of evaluation. In Uruguay, the program is aimed at outstanding students in their 5th and 6th year of high school or Technical Schools (UTU) with an excellent academic average and level of English who wish to pursue their undergraduate degree at a U.S. university and who require financial assistance. Students receive a full ride scholarship that covers tuition and room and board for four years.

CCC advisers work intensively to prepare students for the application process, organize student activities, study groups, intensive SAT and ACT preparation, reading assignments, lectures, and community service projects. While there are no guarantees that a CCC student will be accepted to a U.S. college or university, this intensive group advising provides extra support for motivated and high-performing students.
